Tina Dyer BHA, ODS-C, CHIM is a health data information specialist in Cancer Care and Epidemiology (CCE), a division within the Sinclair Cancer Research Institute, who has previously worked at capturing complete history, diagnosis, treatment, and health status on patients located in various cities in the province of Ontario. Ms. Dyer was introduced to the field of oncology research and held the position of Supervisor of Pathology Coding in the Ontario Cancer Registry. Since joining CCE, she has utilized curated data in the pursuit of population health services research and is well versed in the issues of confidentiality, privacy and data security that accompany the handling of health information. Ms. Dyer not only holds a BHA in Health Administration with a Major in Information Management but has achieved the highest standard of professional excellence by earning the Certified in Health Information or CHIM credential (Canadian) and Oncology Data Specialist or ODS credential (U.S.).
