Profile
Fabio Ynoe de Moraes, MD, PhD, MBA is an Associate Professor and clinical investigator in radiation oncology and global oncology at the Queen’s University and Kingston Health Sciences Centre, Kingston, ON, Canada. Dr Moraes is a Brazilian graduated and trained Radiation Oncologist (Hospital Sírio-Libanês, São Paulo, Brazil) who moved to Canada in 2016 for a 3-year clinical-research fellowship at the University of Toronto (Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto, ON, Canada), having previously worked at University of São Paulo (INRAD/ICESP) and Hospital Sírio-Libanês. Before joining the Queen’s University, Dr Moraes performed high level clinical and research activities at the Hospital Sírio-Libanês, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre. Dr Moraes has more than 100 published peer-reviewed articles (i.e. NEJM, Lancet Oncology, Nature Medicine, Nature Biotechnology) and holds a PhD in Health Sciences (Oncology) and post graduate degree in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Dr Moraes' research aims to explore the intersection between oncology, health policy, and innovation. Dr. Moraes is part of multiple journal editorial board and he also have been awarded multiple research and career awards.
